My brother D. and I discovered we're both using GoodReads.com (which is awesome, btw!) and so we decided to friend each other. I had attached a question to my account, asking people how they know me, because sometimes their usernames are a little obscure and they don't have a picture of themselves. Here's what my brother wrote:
"We met a little less than 32 years ago in a small town in Indiana -- I think you liked me initially, but then I started to get on your nerves as we spent more time together. (Truth be told, vice versa!) Perhaps something to do with building materials and stitches. Or maybe just differing interests. Anyway, quite some time passed, and we later became more friendly especially ~1992 when your transportation means increased considerably. After that, you decided to leave everything you knew to head to the big city. The internet started to become popular, and we've conversed mostly via this fantastic medium since then, along with some in-person random holidays and get togethers. Bottom line, you should remember me :-) "
I laughed so hard! It really made my day.
Thanks, bro!
Finished The Broken Teaglass by Emily Arsenault.
Billy has just taken his first post-college job, working as a lexicographer for a dictionary company. (Lexicographers are the people who define words.) While looking through some definitions for words (before deciding to include a word in the dictionary, they create folders for it and use instances where the word appears--for example, a few sentences from a book, so that they can see the word and the context), he finds an excerpt from a novel. That excerpt seems to be describing his office.
He and a coworker start to do a little more digging (because, really, who can resist a book that seems to be about their coworkers?) and it turns out that the book doesn't exist. Then they find some more pages from that same author, and a crime may have been committed.
Very fun mystery. And lexicography sounds pretty awesome. :)
Saturday last week, I watched Up Dharma Down perform at Saguijo. It's great to see another Filipino band gain its well-deserved recognition in the Asian music industry.
Learn the tricks of fire
And wash yourself with it

Pag-Agos (Not your usual traffic scene)
Kailan ang huling unos?
Sana (Video-Game inspired)
Wala na bang makakapantay at di na ba dapat pang maghintay
Ako lang ba ang nagkasala?
Kumakapit sa natitirang sana.

Dancing of Lights at the UST Main Building. Giant Christmas Tree situated at the Grandstand Inside the UST Main Building lies a wide array of historic culture (where the Museum is, as well). More of Christmas art decors around the University.
One of the highlights is the 15-minute fireworks display.
Counting down to 2011, wherein UST celebrates its 400 years as the Royal Pontifical University in the Philippines.
I graduated from UST back in 2003, with a degree in Business Administration... and look where I am now! Lolz. I guess, that part of my study is applied in doing special projects and handling people at work. (In case you're still wondering, I'm a graphic designer/ photographer, career-wise)
It is always good to look back at a part of my history. Lots of great memories here in my Alma Mater, which never fails to bring back that certain "school spirit" in me. Now that UST is nearing its 400th year, it gives me something to look forward to --- can't wait to be a part of it!
